Broccoli Patties and Baked Cheese

Ingredients:
  • ¾     cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½     cup sharp cheddar cheese
  • ⅓     cup parmesan cheese
  • 2     eggs - beaten
  •     salt/pepper
  • 2  teaspoons vegetable oil
  • ½     onion - chopped
  • 1     (12 ounce) bag frozen broccoli - defrosted (or you can use fresh steamed broccoli or broccoli rabe)
  • 2     cloves garlic - minced
Instructions:


Preheat the broiler to 400 degrees. Gently oil a preparing sheet lined with aluminum foil. Heat the oil in a little container over medium high temperature, include the garlic and onions. Season with salt/pepper to taste. Sauté until onions are garlic are delicate, put aside to cool. 

Add the broccoli to a kitchen towel. Wrap the towel around the broccoli and press out the additional dampness. (that step is not as essential when you utilize new broccoli, its only a method for getting all the additional dampness out of solidified broccoli, you don't need it to be true wet) Place the emptied broccoli into a substantial vessel, include the onion and garlic and blend tenderly. 

To the same vessel, include the panko, the cheeses, eggs, and salt/pepper to taste. Combine and structure into patties, put on the readied preparing sheet. Prepare in the preheated stove for 15 minutes. Flip and heat for an additional 15 minutes or until sautéed and fresh.
